i-Read-it Outlook Plugin

Have you ever suddenly woke up at night to remember an email that you were suppose to get back to but forgot? You remember reading it, but after clicking away it became “read, unbolded, and forgotten” by Outlook. Don’t you hate that feeling?

Have you ever wanted to just quickly scan your emails, looking for importance, and plan to get back to them later, but Outlook marks them all as read? Now you have to waste time right-clicking each of them and marking them back as unread just so you can deal with them later. Don’t you find this annoying?

Don’t you wish there was an Outlook add-in that prevented Outlook from marking everything that you click on as “read”?

Well, now there is. We found a new Outlook plugin called “i-Read-it Outlook Plugin”. After installing i- Read-it, a new toolbar shows up in Outlook with 4 buttons:
1.I-Read-It
2.Deal With Later
3.Remind Me Soon
4.I-Read-it Options

i-Read-it has also told Outlook not to mark anything as “Read” unless you click the “i-Read-it” button. This is awesome! Also worth mentioning, emails will be marked as “Read” if you reply to it or you double-click it.

2 other really useful features of i-Read-it are the “Deal With Later” and the “Remind Me Soon” buttons.

“Remind Me Soon” will put the email in your task list, category color code it if you like, and remind you at a preset time (which is done through the i-Read-it Options). This is great if you need to be reminded of an email in an hour or so.

“Deal With Later” does the same thing as “Remind Me Soon” except the idea is to have it remind you at a longer time interval, say, for example, in 24 hours.

In my opinion, the new i-Read-it Plugin is an excellent addition to Outlook and it will increase your email productivity! Once you get the hang of things, you will wonder how you even got this far without it.

For $9.99, this Outlook plugin is a steal – and you can even try it for 10 days before you buy it.
